Overview
A four-person university project for reviewing courses and browsing units. Frontend development was the main area of responsibility, with the project also providing first in-depth full-stack experience.
The problem
Students relied on group chats and word of mouth for unit feedback, making reviews difficult to find and compare. The project brought that feedback into one searchable platform.
Implementation
- —Took primary responsibility for the frontend, designing the UI and building over 90% of the interface
- —Worked in a four-person agile team using planning, stand-ups, and progress presentations
- —Developed backend and full-stack fundamentals while collaborating with teammates responsible for those areas
How it fits together
MongoDB stores course data and reviews, which are exposed to the React frontend through an Express/Node API. Gemini AI supports review search and summarisation.

Completed as the team’s final project. The site is no longer hosted.
