Overview
A solo Flutter app for discovering and reviewing dog-friendly places in Sydney.
The problem
Dog-friendly information is often unclear or spread across multiple sources. The app brings discovery and community sharing into one place.
Implementation
- —Google Places API search using live location or manual lookup
- —Firebase Authentication for accounts and Firestore for reviews and place data
- —Firebase Storage for user photo uploads
How it fits together
Google Places provides place data, while Firestore stores community reviews and dog-friendly information.
Where it stands
Completed as a solo working prototype and not developed further.
